Yes, all projects are split into three payments: 50% to kick things off, 30% once you’ve approved the final design, and the remaining 20% when your site is ready to go live. This keeps things manageable without any surprises along the way. Additional flexible payment plans are also available. You can find the details here.
Domain registration isn’t something I offer directly, but I’ll point you in the right direction and help you get set up if needed. You won’t be on your own with it. However, hosting is available as part of my Care Plans, which take care of keeping your site secure, updated, and running smoothly after launch. You can find out more about Care Plans here.
Most projects take between 6–9 weeks, depending on the type and scale of the website. Once I know what you’re looking for, I can give you a much more accurate timeline.
One thing that makes a real difference is having your content (text, images, and any other materials) ready when needed, and keeping communication and approvals moving. The smoother that side flows, the faster your site gets to launch. I’ll guide you through exactly what’s needed and when, so there are no surprises.
Every website I build includes SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices from the ground up, including optimized titles and descriptions, keyword research, and all the technical foundations that help Google find and index your site as quickly as possible.
Ongoing SEO work such as content strategy and ranking campaigns falls outside of what I offer, but your site will be set up with a solid foundation to build from.
Yes, you’ll provide the main content for your website, such as your text, images, and any other materials you’d like to include. Don’t worry if it’s not perfectly polished though; I’ll help with things like headings, button text, and small wording tweaks to make sure everything reads well and fits the design.
If writing isn’t your strong suit, I’d recommend working with a copywriter before we get started.
Absolutely. Every project includes initial WordPress training so you can confidently manage your own content (adding posts, uploading media, making small updates), plus a personalised website user manual to refer back to whenever you need it.
For ongoing support, my Website Care Plans offer priority assistance and peace of mind that your site is in good hands. Any larger changes (new pages, layout updates, and so on) can be arranged separately and will be quoted accordingly.
You do! Your website is not held hostage. This allows any other developer/designer to take over your website if that’s what you want and can be transferred to most web hosts. I want you to stay with me because you want to, not because you have to.
